All zebrafish are exposed to a specific toxin, at a specific concentration, from 0 Days Post Fertilization (dpf) until 5dpf. Health and deformities of each zebrafish is tracked over this period and compared at different toxin exposure concentrations.

Head size of zebrafish is also assessed and compared with controls which are not exposed to toxins. The literature shows a correlation between increased head size and individuals diagnosed with ASD as well as some correlation between some toxins and increased head size, hence our interest.
